 | Following a lengthy discussion
the AMTA Board of Directors decided it would be in the best interest
of the AMTA members and the AMTA to cancel the 2021 AMTA reunion.
Due to the pandemic the AMTA was not charged any money from the
hotel when the reunion was cancelled. Numerous things were
brought into the discussion about whether to take a chance and NOT
cancel or to cancel now so the AMTA would not be obligated to pay
money later on. The 2019 AMTA reunion was poorly attended through no
fault of anyone. Simply put, we are getting older and 200 mile
or 2000 mile trips are not nearly as simple as they once were. |

| Do not despair though because if
we have enough interest in 2022 we will have an informal reunion,
and it could be in San Antonio unless a great deal more interest is
shown to have it someplace else. The pandemic must go away and
the panic stopped or it would not be feasible to take a costly
chance at having the reunion even in 2022. |

| Another thing we need to be
thinking of for this year in the AMTA is electing new board members.
We have three board members coming up for re-election:
 | Mike McLaughlin -
Mike will run again

| Joe Jesty -
Joe will run again, but hopes
some of the younger guys will run |
| Larry Meade -
Larry will run again, but hopes
some of the younger guys will run |
| We have one new candidate so
far, George Honsaker
has stated he will be
happy to run for the AMTA board |

someone that may be interested in running for the AMTA board please
let anyone of the following board members know as soon as possible:
