Longtime fellow AMT and great friend passed away May 2020

Raymond is gone but not forgotten

RAYMOND D. MARTIN

Raymond D. Martin, age 82, of Wooster, entered into rest, Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Wooster Community Hospital following a brief illness. He was born in Holmes County on December 7, 1937 to Russell and Vera (Hamlin) Martin and has been a Wayne County Resident for most of his life. Raymond had served with the U.S. Air Force before his retirement, after 21 years of service. He married Marjorie L. Martin on February 14, 1965. She entered into rest on April 21, 2015. He previously had taught mathematics and electronics at the Wayne County Schools Career Center and retired after 20 years of service. Raymond previously belonged to the Wooster Elks Lodge; enjoyed traveling with his wife; golfing & bowling and mostly loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his children, Tammy R. (Philip) Neumann of Delhi, N.Y., Terri A. (Wayne) Brigham of Wooster; grandsons, Shawn & Michael Neumann; granddaughters, Nicole Killinger & Haley Brigham; a great-grandson, Jasper Killinger and 2 great-granddaughters, Gemma & Geneva Killinger; a sister Donna (Dwight) Stair of Wadsworth and a brother Earl (Terrie) Martin of Wooster, a brother-in-law, Edward Beck of Wooster and a special niece, Laura Hoffman of Smithville. In addition to his parents and beloved wife, he is preceded in death by a brother Bill Martin and 2 sisters, Wanda & Ruby. A private service with visitation will take place at the convenience of the family with interment to take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
