JOHN VICTOR SHAFFER Born May 20, 1940 - Died August 14, 2007

John V. Shaffer was one of the seven founders for the Airborne Maintenance Technician Association.  He has been the AMTA treasurer since inception except for approximately three months in the beginning.  John was an inspiration to many of us and you could always count on him no matter what the job or the time.  He left some mighty big shoes to fill and we are not sure one person will be able to do it.

Just a few memories of John as we had some great times with the AMTA.............
